When I dove into the deep,
the screaming reeds swalled me.
I was enclosed as if a dome was
placed on top of me, left to brew for weeks
A protective layer can only protect one side
I was on the other
A gushing tide slammed and bruised me
when I wanted to curl, I was unravelled and exposed.
I blacked out.
I resurfaced.
I did not drown.
I breathed.
I escaped the deep.
